A man visited the Elder in his Community, seeking wisdom.  He sat silent before the old man, slightly bowing his head.  He had no idea what to expect from the old man, about whom great tales of achievement led many to his door.  So he just sat before the old man, head slightly down, quiet.  It seemed a long time before anyone spoke.  The man looked up ever so slightly, wondering if the old wise man was blessing him or doing something 'wise'.  The old man asked:
